Oasis Community Housing Black & Gold Ball 2025
June 2025

Helm has been honoured with a Shared Value Award from local homelessness charity, Oasis Community Housing, at its flagship Black & Gold Ball held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Friday 13th June.
Presented by the BBC’s Reverend Canon Kate Bottley, the charity’s Patron, Chair of Trustees Nick Salisbury, and Corporate Relationships Manager Sophie Barker, Helm received the Silver Award in recognition of our continued support over the past 12 months.
The Shared Value Awards celebrate businesses that have made a meaningful contribution to Oasis Community Housing’s mission, and we’re proud to play a part in supporting the vital work they do.
For over 40 years, Oasis Community Housing has been tackling both the immediate and underlying causes of homelessness across the North-East and South-East of England. Their work spans crisis intervention, supported accommodation, employment support and financial training, and specialist services for women escaping domestic abuse.
We're proud to continue supporting this fantastic charity and its mission to make homelessness a thing of the past.
