Paul Bevan
Projects Director
Paul is a highly experienced Project Manager with a broad portfolio of skills. A former Royal Air Force Officer specialising in infrastructure, Paul has been managing projects at home and overseas for 25 years, utilising local workforces and working to UK regulations in austere environments. Since leaving the RAF, he has specialised in large public sector construction and demolition projects. His mantra is that communication and relationship building are critical to project success.
Andrew Steadman
Director
Andrew is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 20-years experience working in construction and property. He has core competencies in all areas of construction and development from project management through to employer’s agent and specialist due diligence/development monitoring. Amongst his many roles, he acted as Project Manager on the £80m Hitachi Rail Vehicle Manufacturing Facility. Andrew brings a highly pro-active approach to problem solving and risk management on behalf of clients.
Ian Muxworthy
Managing Director
Ian is a chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive Project Management experience. From inception stage through to procurement, construction and commissioning, his Project Management skills have been honed over a wide range of projects and client sectors – government projects, health work, education projects and commercial developments as well as Employers Agent on multi-million pound developments. Ian’s leadership skills are put into full use in his role of Managing Director. Ian runs a tight ship and is held in very high regard by the team.
Brian Taylor
Projects Director
Brian’s highly efficient, no-nonsense style of project management has been a trademark feature of his approach to work since he co-founded the company in 1990. Today, his constructive, organised and re-assuringly direct manner is brought to bear on project management commissions. Brian also oversees, with the same efficacy, the commissioning and co-ordination of any directly contracted works.
Esther McHugh
Business Services Manager
Esther manages the office finances as well as supporting the day-to-day running of the office. She is structured and well organised with a calm, can-do attitude. Her experience has been gained in similar roles within various organisations in the private sector.
William Grafton
Projects Director
An experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with 22yrs professional practice in the industry. William was formerly Director of Building Surveying for a national surveying practice. He specialises in Project Management and Building and Property from initial survey, throughout retention and upon disposal, and has a diverse knowledge of construction. He has project managed some of the largest building construction projects in the North East in recent years.
Peter Groves
Projects Director
Peter is a highly experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of leading a successful business unit and delivering project management, cost consultant and employers agent services for construction projects for high profile, signature architecture buildings.
Clare McGhee
Senior Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor
Clare has over twenty years’ experience as a qualified Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Bringing a wealth of experience to the team, Clare has previously been a key member in project delivery teams across a range of contracts from education development to healthcare facilities and commercial builds. Clare is a driven and organised person, focusing on ensuring projects are delivered on programme and provide the best value for the client.
Lewis Meillam
Project Manager
Lewis gained initial experience through the Manchester Life Apprenticeship scheme, working in engineering, construction, architecture and local government. This diverse background equipped him with a broad skill set and a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry. He has since gained extensive experience in project management and quantity surveying, working on commercial, industrial, residential and public realm projects. Lewis advocates a team-based approach, fostering collaboration and shared ownership in every project.
